How do I set up gender detection?
Install the app from HubSpot Marketplace, configure your settings in the Detect Gender interface, create corresponding properties in HubSpot, and start creating contacts. Gender information will be detected automatically.
Can I customize the confidence threshold?
Yes! You can set custom confidence thresholds for gender detection accuracy. Higher thresholds (0.8-0.9) provide more accurate results, while lower thresholds (0.5-0.7) detect more names but with lower confidence.
What's the difference between plans?
Free: 100 gender detections/month, contacts only. Starter ($9/month): 1,000 detections, all contact properties, update existing contacts. Pro ($29/month): 10,000 detections, multiple properties per contact. Enterprise: Unlimited detections, priority support.
Can I update existing contacts with gender detection?
Yes, with Starter and Pro plans you can use the bulk update feature to detect gender for existing contacts that don't have gender information yet.
Is my data secure?
Absolutely. We use HubSpot's secure OAuth authentication, encrypt all data in transit and at rest, and follow industry best practices for data security.
How do I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
You can upgrade directly from the Detect Gender settings interface or manage your subscription through the Paddle customer portal. For downgrades, use the customer portal or contact support.
